CERV-1 by Larry Shinoda

In the early to mid 90s, went to a vintage race in Palm Springs.
Larry Shinoda was old and frail.
He had a table selling signed posters of some GM product.
I remember feeling bad for him.
There was no one at his table...
Although I had read about him and his role at GM Design, it seemed like most people didn't know who he was...

According to Wikipedia, he died in 1997 at the age of 67.
When I saw him in the early to mid 90s, he must have been in his early 60s.
He looked much older and weak.
Seemed like a sad ending to an interesting career.
