Dining table bench - part 20 -- Legs - Assembly using biscuits

Decided to use biscuits to join the pieces without using screws

Will use "0" size biscuits

Normally, cutting the slots for the biscuits would be very easy.
But, because of the 5 degree angle on all the pieces, it won't be straightforward.
Need to cut the slots at an angle from the edge...

Bottom piece.
Using two biscuits per joint.

The reference will the the distance from the edge of the piece to the edge of the biscuit cutter.

Working on the table saw.
There's other flat surfaces but they're mostly occupied with stuff...

Garage -- Moving in an Area Carpet -- Part 1

I'm moving an area carpet that used to be in the living room in the house, into the garage to have it live it's second life (no longer wanted in the house).

In this picture, I've already moved the bikes outside and cleared the stuff around the area and on top of the flat files that live in the middle of the garage.

The rug in the front of this picture used to live in the house also, until it got replaced with the rug now being moved into the garage.

I'll temporarily move the flat file close to the front of the garage to just have it get out of the way of where the new rug will go...

I pushed the flat files to here, where it's no longer in the area where the rug will go.

The flat files are on custom made metal base with wheels.

The red supporting column is in the way also.
Will remove it temporarily then put it back after the rug is situated in place.

This is after the column support has been removed temporarily.

Now it's pretty much ready for the rug.
