San Diego Swap Meet -- Junk

Manhattan Beach Pier - Sunday 2015-2-22 1:30 PM -- Just Before the Rain

Rode my bike home in the rain, sometimes heavy, pretty much all the way.  Actually enjoyed riding in the rain!  All the people disappeared almost instantly and rode almost alone on the bike path home...  Was soaked completely through when I got home...

San Diego Swap Meet -- 2015-2-21

A guy was selling baby snakes.  He had this very visually appealing display using what looks like small takeout containers.  The variation in patterns on the snake skins and the vivid colors are eye drawing.

This swap meet is so big that I couldn't see all of it in  7 hours.

When I was a kid...  Fantastic color.

From before I was a kid...  Going from a flat head 4 cyl. to a cross-flow, over head valve must have been like turbocharging is today (but without the inelegant turbo-lag).  Maybe even got better gas mileage due to the higher compression ratio and more efficient combustion.

Laguna Seca - Corkscrew

Might have posted this picture before or maybe not (may have been a similar picture).  Near the very center of this picture, there's a guy repairing his bike.  He illustrates what's unusual about the corkscrew:  It's very steeply pitched downhill and it's deceptively fast, even on a bicycle...  But, when you first see it, coming over the crest of the uphill, it looks kind of benign...
