Garage Organizing - part 15 - Blue Kennedy Tackle Box, Work clothes & LH lower Cabinet

Model car & boxes in the bottom drawer

The top drawer is too shallow for much.  It could be used to store 1/87 scale model cars (perhaps in the future).

Original Kennedy label.  These tackle boxes are made of high quality aluminum and plastic so they don't have corrosion issues when used near or on the ocean.  This box is pretty rough with dents and lots of paint loss on the outside but is still functional.  The blue is a very attractive color and pretty unusual to have "wrinkle finish" paint in that color.  It would have looks pretty nice when new...

Using this old small travel case for storage

Work clothes...

This is the LH lower cabinet (There are three lower cabinets on the back wall of the garage, plus drawer units at the extreme ends of the counter.  The LH & RH lower cabinets have drawers above them.  The middle lower cabinet is not as tall and does not have a drawer above it, because the counter top is dropped down for the chop-saw.)
Labeling the boxes/cases is very helpful for later... (there's no way I'll remember where anything is...)

Monday, May 11, 2020 -- Marina Del Rey

It's a little cooler (in the high 60s) and more windy today.  The wind blows "in" so riding out to the beach is really tough...

Garage Organizing - part 14 -- Hillco Bin & large scale models in tool box

This is a large hardware bin.  I later filled it pretty much full of miscellaneous hardware that was being stored in other places in the garage... (forgot to take a picture after)

The bin in the previous picture is the gray one with the Hillco fastener warehouse sticker on it (Hillco is a well known local fastener store).

Adding more models into the toolbox with the larger scale cars in it.  This is a Maisto 1/18 scale 550 spyder.

Used the rest of the available space to put 1/43 scale models in it.
