Sunday, October 31, 2021 -- Long Beach Antique Swap Meet -- Part 1

Like the look of the old Crosley radio on the top shelf.

The Airplane Gauge Cluster looks like it was either a movie prop or something that someone put together for display.
The two center gauges are fake, but the four outer gauges are real.

Nice selection of tool boxes but priced pretty high...

I've seen this musical instrument vendor before.
His van is packed full of instruments, even after he takes the ones out for his tables...

Someone made these old Haliburton travel cases into custom camera equipment cases.
There's a phone number on one of the insides that starts with a name then 5 digits (before they went to just numbers).
So, maybe from the 1950s?

Creative plant display design...

Nice hardware sales cabinet...

I have a similar cart.
Will probably move it on...

Prosthetic arm?!

Nice old tools and nice display for sale...

SF's Garage (in RPV)

S visited my garage several times.
It was time for me to visit his.
He actually parks a car (Honda S2000) in the garage!

He has most of his stuff on wheels (router table, drill press, etc.)
We've been trading stuff between us (The Champion storage cabinet used to be mine).

We sat in the garage, had lunch and shot the breeze (mostly about where S used to work before retirement).
Met his wife J who recently retired from teaching in the Torrance School District.  CMK used to work in the same district before we had kids!  Small world...

Friday, October 29, 2021 -- Flat Tire...

Was about to go for the lunch ride.
The rear tire is completely flat.
Taking a closer look, the tire is pretty worn...

There's one spot where the tire is worn to the point that the casing below can be seen...

Old tire & inner tube.

New tire and inner tube installed.
Same brand and size as the old one.
25 mm width...
