Whittier Bicycle Swap Meet -- Saturday, January 10, 2016

This chrome bicycle is very similar to the one I bought last year...  Mine was missing a few parts (like tires & a seat!) but it's now pretty much complete...
Below are a few pictures of my bike with some of the new hardware on it (poor pictures due to the bike being stacked in the garage with many other bikes...)
This is a new Brooks Bike Seat that I've had for several years.  Bought it at the Long Beach Motorcycle Swap Meet...

This is a new Brooks leather bicycle bag that can go on the handlebar or on the back of the seat.  Also bought at the Long Beach Motorcycle Swap Meet, but at a different time than the seat...

These are still made in Osaka.  Yet another Long Beach Motorcycle Swap Meet purchase, at a different visit and all from different vendors...  This will be put on the chrome bike.

Not a Long Beach Motorcycle Swap Meet purchase.  Bought this through Amazon recently.  It's a water bottle bracket for mounting to the tube of a bike (seat or down tube...), for bikes built without built-in water bottle mounts.  This will also go on the chrome bike, for now...  (it doesn't fit the vintage vibe of the chrome bike but for now...)

This "Vitus" is built very similarly to the Guerciotti (picture below).  I have a red Guerciotti...  The main junctions appear to be made of cast aluminum with different material tubes connecting them.  In the case of the Vitus, it's painted over so hard to tell what the material is.  The Guerciotti appears to have carbon fiber tubes.
Even though the Vitus & Guerciotti look similar in the aluminum joint area, the casting are completely different!
