Tuesday, June 16, 2020 -- Manhattan Beach Pier - The Pier is Open Again... Feels almost normal...

The girl in the bottom right of this picture stopped and looked like she had trouble with her bike.  She put it down on the ground and looked puzzled and frustrated...
I asked her if she needs a tool or something & she said there's something wrong & asked me to take a look at the bike.
It turned out to just be a chain that came off.  I used the rubber glove that I carry in my bike bag to put the chain back on without getting all greasy.
I checked the shifting and it seemed to be working OK.  Just a dropped chain.
She said thanks & rode off.  My tiny good deed for the day...
