Fixing the microwave - Part 1

The door doesn't always close/latch.
Have to push on the door or move it up/down to get it to latch, so that the light goes out and the microwave can operate.

Looking at the latch mechanism, the latch "claw" piece on the door appears to have too much side-to-side play in it.
It's guided by a plastic U-shaped piece that has quite a lot of space, allowing the claw to move/rotate.

The result of the play for the claw appears to be to allow the claw to engage the fixed catch on one side and has worn the plastic down.

The flat plastic piece behind the catch is a lever that operates a switch (can't see the switch).
The claw on the door pushes the switch.
I'm thinking that the claw engaging the stationary catch is not fully pushing on the switch.

Can see the wear on the tip of the claw.
