Large (1/12 scale?) '60s Lotus F1 car - Japanese Tin Toy -- Some thorough cleaning...

Cleaned the LH side of the engine area.  The Orange lever is for the two speed transmission on this motorized toy (forward = slow, rearward = fast).

Before the cleaning of the RH side of the engine area.  Notice the dirt and the lower trailing arm is bent.

Dirty passenger compartment, before cleaning.

After cleaning.  Also, the RH lower trailing arm has been bent back to be straight...

After cleaning

Took some scotchbrite to the steel rollbar to make it look better...

After all the cleaning.  Looks much better (even though it's hard to tell in the picture).

To illustrate how large this toy is, set next to some normal items...

Newly acquired HKS road bike detail pictures -- part 4

The rear brake cable in routed through the top tube.  Pretty unusual for a steel bike possibly from the '80s ('90s?).

Backside of rear brakes

Seat look much more modern than the rest of the bike.

Gooseneck is Cinelli but the logo has been nearly worn completely off

Can see the faint remnants of the Cinelli logo...

Brake Lever

Brakes (BB-7402)

Rear deraileur (RD-7400)

Back of front deraileur chain guide

Back of crank arm (FC-7400)

Even the rear deraileur free wheels are marked Dura Ace

Tange bike - part 2 (removed the seat, etc.)

Don't know if this will clean up OK or not...

Made in Italy

Blurry picture.  Says "Miche Made Italy"

Missing the crank bolt caps...

Crank and crank arms are Shimano 105 group (kind of a mid-level group)

Rear deraileur is Shimano Dura Ace (6S-7S-SIS;  I think this means 6 speed or 7 speed with Index shifting (SIS))
