Saturday, April 2, 2022 -- Driving Museum Cars & Coffee -- Part 3

Talked with Patrick quite a bit.
Just struck up a conversation since we both drove there in MGBs.
He has a nice 69 MGB that he restored.
Turns out he's the architect/builder on the house at the end of the block from my house!
He said he signed the contract on the project in 2016.
He's now restoring a 1969 Ford Fairlane convertible.
Sounds like a lot of work...

I'm not a big fan of this Z4 but I think the side marker light solution on the front fender is pretty cool.

The interior on this C3 Corvette is pretty much lacking in any design flair/creativity, The quality is also poor.
Only thing I like is that it's color matched all over.
They don't do this anymore...

mid to late 1970s urethane bumper cars...

The grille on this 60 Cadillac is pretty amazing.
It must weigh 20 lbs too...

The opposite of the C3 interior.
Everything is styled and detailed.

Incredible rear end design!
Kinda crazy...

Long Beach Motorcycle Swap -- Sunday, March 27, 2022 -- Part 6 & Last - Milwaukee ""Band File"

This is basically a mini belt sander.
To get into very tight spaces.
Pretty narrow focused tool but in the right situation, could be a real time/effort saver.

It folds down into a pretty compact package.

Hanging more steering wheels in the rafters...

Will put another steering wheel hanger about where the yellow hook & Jaguar grille is.

Took down the grille & hooks in the way.

Jaguar E-type Series III grille

Hung up the hanger.

First the Jaguar steering wheel (the wheel center is not the right one for the steering wheel).

Next, one of the old wood wheels.

Then, another old wood steering wheel.

Jaguar steering wheel.

Last is the Lotus Elise steering wheel (made by Momo).
