Dining table bench - part 25 -- Legs - Cut the top on the bandsaw to match to the bottom of the board...

After making the shape matching cut on the bandsaw...

Will need to sand it some...

Trial fit and checked the seating.
It's slightly higher on one end than the other...

The fit is ok but could be better...

Replacing the handlebar grips on T's bike...

The grips are sticky & need to be replaced. (I'm guessing that the material has degraded from exposure to the environment and the chemicals from the hands.)

The handlebars (carbon fiber) are about 0.875" diameter (a little over 22.2 mm).

Also measured the length of the grips on the handlebars.
It measures about 4.825" (about 122.5 mm).

I happen to have these orange foam grips already.
They're the correct size so I put them on for now.

First, I don't think they'll last very long (pretty soft/spongy foam).
And, T will probably not want them on there too long because of the color.

But for now, the bike can be ridden without getting all grossed out by the sticky grips! (very unpleasant to touch)

Garage -- Hanging Bikes in the Corner...

This is the "before" picture.
There used to be one bike hanging in the left rear corner of the garage (near the book cases).

Now there are three bikes hanging in the corner (closely spaced together but not touching).

Used these simple hooks (the larger yellow one in this picture) to hang the bikes.
