Garage Organizing - part 11 -- More large scale models & a drawer in the corner tall cabinet

Larger than 1/18 scale (1/16?) pressed steel model of the car in the driveway (Japanese model).  It's so big, it won't fit in the toolbox where I'm attempting to put a lot of the larger models...

Studebaker pickup (1/18 scale).  Pretty amazing level of detail (I think it's a Franklin Mint model).  The side view mirror looks like it will break off if you look at it too hard...

Saturday, May 9, 2020 -- Ganahl Lumber & Marina Del Rey

Went to Ganahl Lumber in Torrance (the nicest Lumber Yard/Hardware Store I've ever been in) to return some stuff.  Noticed these in the hardware aisle.  May come in handy if the gate to the back yard droops again.  So far, my repair has been holding up and hasn't drooped...

Not too uncommon to see helicopters at the ocean lately.  Some are police, Coast Guard & News choppers.  Some don't have any marking so possibly private?  Since the beaches are closed to people, this is another way to get out there (besides the sail boats...).

Garage Organizing - part 10 - Romex & Large Scale Models

This is left over romex from when I rewired the garage (25 years ago?).  I'm going to give it to someone at work who is having a remodel done on his garage soon.  It's kind of sad that I've been storing it for all these years & never used it... (it's fair to wonder "what was the point?")

1/18 scale.  I have a bunch of larger scale models with no place to display them.  Will pack them in one of the tool boxes for storage for now... 

This is basically the car in the driveway, even the color.   This large scale plastic model is old and is about 1/18 scale (maybe a little smaller, like 1/20 scale?).

A wind-up car in plastic, but old (made in USA).  It's sitting in the toolbox that other large models are being packed into...
