The path goes "behind" the water falls...
Lots of interesting moss and lichen on the rocks...

Sunday, December 26, 2021 -- Three Falls Trail near Hurricane, UT -- Part 1
Late afternoon hike at a local trail near Hurricane, UT.
We stayed in Virgin, which is only a few miles away from Hurricane (& just a short drive to the entrance to Zion National Park).
Car is still salt covered...
It's hard to see but the trail actually goes steeply up the left side of where T is standing and goes up to the sharp pointed rock in the distance.
Then it keeps going up the canyon beyond...
The canyon is dry (no water in the falls...).
The trail goes up the side of this canyon and is pretty steep at first.
It's not marked so at first it's hard to tell that this is even the trail...
Came up a couple of hundred feet above the canyon near the pointy rock...

Just the driving through/around the park was pretty scenic...
This short hike to a slot canyon was unusual in that the canyon dead ended... (usually you end up coming out the other side)
