Sunday, November 28, 2021 -- Putting away and moving around paper into the book cases in the garage --- Part 1

Bottom two shelves of the middle (of 5) book cases making up most of one wall in the garage...
Have Automobile Quarterly Volumes 1 through 24 in cases (except for Volume 16).
Also have Volume 36 in it's slip case.
What's unique about the slip cases for AQs are that they're Volume specific.

There are a total of 51 full volumes plus one issues of Volume 52 (last publication).
Would be nice to have all 51 volumes in slip cases...

Actually, I don't even know if I have all 52 volumes.
Most of the AQs are in the 4th book case (from the front of the garage).  One of these days, I'll check and set aside the duplicates for "getting rid of"...

Third and fourth shelves (from the bottom) of the middle book case...

Fifth and sixth shelves from the bottom...
The AQs in slip cases are duplicates so they need to go at some point...

More duplicates...

The top two shelves of the middle book case...

Thursday, November 25, 2021 -- Marina Del Rey

Thanksgiving morning bike ride...
Beautiful day.
Lots of people out on the bike trail.

Thanksgiving home made deserts -- Coconut mochi cake, anko (red bean) mochi cake, jello & mini cinnamon roll

Thanksgiving was at the brother-in-law's in Porter Ranch (Northridge).  Ate too much...

Turtle Coaster

SKMK made this coaster for me (knitted) a year ago.
I use it every day!

Unfortunately, I broke this cup...
It's the third cup I've broken this year.
All three while washing in the sink & slipping out of my hands.
Two of the three cups weren't too precious but the third is a Porsche cup I really like.  The handle broke off in two pieces.
I'll try to "superglue" it back together so that it's at least usable...

Friday, November 19, 2021 -- JL Garage visit -- part 3 & Last

I thought the large artwork on the walls were "prints" of some sort.
They're actually very large hand painted oil on canvas!

The "garage" is immense.
Many large rooms (eight, or is it ten very large spaces...).

This was my favorite part...

This is one of the rooms in the also very large "shop" building next door to the "garage."  This was just one of the side rooms with mostly steam powered vehicles in it (most of the room is not visible in the picture; it's mostly to the left and behind me...).
