Saturday, May 28, 2022 -- Manhattan Beach Pier -- Starbucks
Went for a ride in the morning.
Got to the Starbucks (two blocks up from the pier) a little after 8 AM...
Got a toasted bagel/cream cheese, tall dark-roast coffee & a glass of ice water!
Sat outside and enjoyed it before riding back home.
This is looking down the first block away from the pier.
It's extremely steep.
I don't know the gradient but maybe 15 to 20%?
This is looking up the second block.
The Starbucks is on the left side at the top.
The second block is not as steep as the first block.
While I was taking the pictures, this guy flew down the steep hill going very fast!
