Going from Marina Del Rey to Manhattan Beach Pier, there was a headwind (averaged in the 16 MPH range). The effort to counter the wind is hard!
On the way back, it was a strong tailwind (average in the 20 to 21 MPH range). The effort with the wind helping from behind feels like much less effort!
The pictures don't show it but since school got out last week, there's more cars in the parking lots & more people at the beach, all along the ride.
