Vintage French & Italian Car Show -- Part 24

Model Cars -- On the desk...

The Diapet Celica 2000 GT, Corgi Ferrari 156 "Sharknose" F1 car, Ferrari 250LM & Dinky MG Midget are "new" on the desk (Christmas gifts)
Ones in the packaging & the three Civics just above them are also "new"

The 1/87 scale Brekina Type 3 Sedan is "new"

Schwinn Paramount -- Finishing the installation of the bottom bracket

Received the bottom bracket tool, missing link and some spare brake cables over the break.

The LH side has a thread-locking compound already on the "nut" & is tightened till it bottoms out (with some minimal torque -- about 10 - 15 lb-ft).

The white thread-locker material is still visible on the "nut."

Fully installed and torqued.

1 & 1/8" Wrench -- Marked "American Airlines LAX" (before and after cleaning)

The guy I got this from said that he used to work at the airport & this was attached to a vehicle at some point.  Someone wrote the words with a welder.  It's hard to know but my guess is that the wrench is maybe 60 years old...

after cleaning (not a dramatic difference.  Put some metal protectant on it to keep it from rusting)

John Deere -- 8 & 9 mm Open End Wrench (before and after cleaning)
