Friday, December 10, 2021 -- Manhattan Beach Pier -- Relatively cool day after the rain...

Sun poking through the clouds...

The wind pattern is the opposite of usual.
It's blowing out (towards the open ocean) as the flag on the right shows.
Makes it very tough for the last part of the ride home along the Ballona Creek bike path (directly against the wind!)...

The surf actually looked pretty decent...

Catalina Island toward the right...

Parana, Brasil -- Early 1970s...

CRMK is in the middle...

Sunday, December 12, 2021 -- Long Beach Car Swap Meet -- Part 3

Saturday, December 11, 2021 -- Pelican Parts Cars & Coffee - Part 5

It's interesting that cars from the 80s and 90s are of interest now...

Pretty good turnout...

Like this hood badge.

This is a European spec. car (much smaller bumpers, besides other differences...).

I always thought these lenses were kinda strange (being more upright).  This one is more so with the yellow...

It seems the yellow lenses are popular...

Nice color and nice plate...

I forget the guy's name but something Walker.
This Momo wheel has his name on it.
I know they did this but I don't know why you would want it on your car...  I could understand it if it was someone who had won the F1 championship or something...

I get the connection to racing but impractical for a street driven car...

924 steering wheel and instruments.
Cost cutting on the components (no leather and the Porsche logo is just molded in to the horn pad).
The 170 MPH speedo is pretty optimistic!
Also, the tach is on the right, instead of being the center gauge.  At least they oriented it so that you can see the needle approaching the redline through the wheel...
