Dining table bench - part 5 -- Cutting the ends of the board...

Setup the table saw with the cross-cutting "sled" that I made a long time ago...

The board wants to tip up so I used the old starter from the MGB to weigh down the board.
The starter is very heavy and worked perfectly for this job!

After cutting both ends.
I thought about leaving the ends "not square" to give it more character but this bench will be used at a dining table so may be placed next to other "normal" chairs.
Having a straight end would work better next to other chairs...

I cut the piece slowly and the blade "burned" the wood as I went.
Will have to sand the ends down to get rid of the burn marks...

Light bulbs... etc...

Things seem to happen in bunches...
The sealed shower light bulb went out (replaced).
There's a gasket around the lens assembly (see picture below) that keeps moisture from the shower out (works very well).

Also,
One of the kitchen recessed light bulbs went out (replaced).
Kitchen drawer guide broke (fixed).
Kitchen faucet started dripping (fixed).

Used Dura Ace "jockey" wheels...

I have these used Dura Ace pulleys that I'm thinking of installing on the Cannondale.
They're a little bit worn and pretty dirty but look to be in better shape than the ones on the bike right now...

One of the jockey wheels has a washer type of bushing.

The center race on this pulley moves some but does not come out.
