Getting Ready to make 30 rolls of Korean Sushi (Sunday, December 10, 2017)

Manhattan Beach Pier Saturday and Sunday near sunset... (On Sunday, they were having a concert "on the pier" by the Mira Costa High School Jazz band...

Sunday Red Sunset... (December 10, 2017)

This picture just didn't capture the sky at it truly looked.  The sky was nearly blood red during sunset.  The smoke dust from the fires...

Long Beach Swap Meet (Sunday, December 10)

This was interesting because the door/rear quarter sheet metal is from a Sunbeam Alpine (Maxwell Smart's car).  It's running airbags. Looks like a lot of work went into the car.  The suspension and overall build quality was quite high (even though it was going for the rat-rod look with rusty parts)...

MG swap meet in Lake Forest (Saturday, December 9)

Brasil flag...  I don't think it's for a car though...

This guy had an interesting assortment of stuff...  Asking way too much though...

Super cool interior.  Interesting "sprung" steering wheel and what looks like a "sprung" steering column.  The car is a XK120 coupe.

One of the best looking engines of all time (along with '20s Bugatti, '50s Alfa, etc.)

XK120 Grille (stamped, as opposed to "built-up" like the later larger grilles...).  Very narrow and tall.  Overheating was an issue on these cars...

Rex Parker's 1971 280S (with 3.5L V8 engine)

The upper door hinge mounting location is a welded on piece to the hinge pillar.  A very labor intensive and precision requiring process...

This is a pretty rare car to see.  It's a 1961 Jaguar 420 (with the XK I6 engine and an automatic transmission)

This is a D-Type replica.  It's pretty nice...

A '60s Moto Guzzi (front drum brake)

XK150 -- Beautiful details...

An early Lotus 7.  The car I most wanted to drive away in...
