Things didn't really cool off till today (September 13).
An unusually long stretch of hot and very humid weather (about a dozen days).
Makes you want to get AC...

Fixed the torn hose on the Dyson Vacuum
Took apart the torn hose.
Cut off the torn portion and reassembled.
The hose is a bit shorter overall but is still usable.
Will keep it as a spare, just in case...
