Small socket set tool box with corrosion -- was previously cleaned -- black wrinkle finish

This box was previously cleaned but started rusting again.

Cleaned the box again.  Need to decide to either paint it or apply a clear protective layer...

Decided to paint the box with black wrinkle finish paint.  I just sprayed it so it's pretty wet...  Will wait 24 hours for it to dry.

Turned out very nice

Was a little concerned that the paint will accumulate at the joints and peel but it separated nicely.

All done.

2" Freud Forstner Bit -- Before & After Cleaning

I let my son's robotics team borrow this.  It came back dirty (not surprising).

Snap-on 3/8" Speed-wrench -- Before & After Cleaning

Backyard Trellis Demolition work and tree trimming

Cut the two large beams into about 2.5 ft long pieces & piled them in the lower left side of the picture.  The Olive tree is hanging very low and is covering one of the metal posts and is blocking the rear sliding door.

The upper part of this picture is the olive tree that needs to be trimmed.  I ended up filling the entire Green bin with the cuttings...

To temporarily cap off the metal post, I installed some drain line clear out plugs over the posts.  The tops of the posts are fitted with threaded pieces so the drain caps threaded into them.  Will keep the bugs & critters out for now.

After the Olive tree trimming.

The ficus tree and the jasmine need trimming too...

Shimano PD-7401 (grey) & PD-6401 (white) -- After Cleaning

These were pretty rough.  After cleaning, they're presentable but still pretty scuffed.  Could do a lot more work (filing, sanding & painting) to make them look really good but I don't think these will ever go on a bike so not worth the effort at this point).  These are pretty heavy and modern ones are probably 2/3 to 1/2 the weight...

This white pair are actually in not too bad a condition.  They show the scuffs and dirt more but with a little bit of light sanding and a little bit of touch-up paint, they would probably look pretty good.  As with the grey ones, not worth any work at this point because of their weight...
