MGB -- Fuel Pump Installation -- Part 2

Bag of electrical tools.
Used some wire insulation strippers & connector crimpers.

The mounting bracket for the new fuel pump was made from a piece of aluminum angle piece from this small scraps bin, stored in one of the outside storage units.

Used the Milwaukee metal chops saw (with abrasive wheel) to cut the aluminum piece to size.
The saw is stored in a different outside storage bin, on the bottom.

The left-over portion of the aluminum scrap angle piece I started with.
Used a file to smooth the edges of the cut out piece.
Used the clamping plier to hold the piece for a portion of the cutting process.
Then drilled two holes for the mounting bolts to go through (matching the built-in mounting holes on the new fuel pump).

Installing the new fuel pump.
First connected the fuel line to the carburetor.

Installed the new fuel pump in the space next to the battery, where the old fuel pump was approximately located.
The mounting bracket piece is used to clamp the new fuel pump around the metal strap piece that's going at an angle in the space.
There's a 1/2" thick wooden spacer above the aluminum bracket to space the fuel pump up a little so that the inlet and outlet fuel line connections have better clearance to stuff around the fuel line connections.
