They've been working near the far end of the bridge for a very long time. Not actually on the bridge but on the left end of the bridge, off the main path.
They've had the bridge half blocked off all that time.
Today, the blocked off half changed to the other side.
Very surprising. Nearly shocking, after several years of it being the same...
They're actively working on the path on the bridge.
Where they're working was the path for several years...
