The gas cap is held closed with a magnet!
the cap is made of aluminum so they had to insert a steel ring in the cap to make the magnet work...
As far as I know, this is the only production car that had a magnetic gas cap...
Some of the worst bumper over-riders to meet US bumper laws.
They appear to be designed such that you can remove them easily and end up with a nice looking bumper.
The first think I would do if I owned this car is to remove those over-riders!
Could have used this shade setup on my drive home in the MGB...
