Epoxy test in a small area of the bench...

Mixed up a small batch of epoxy and colored it with the blue mica.
It turned out too dark.

There was a small "hole" area at one corner of the bench.

You're supposed to use heat (torch) to get out the air bubbles.

Tried using a heat gun, but the air flow is too strong.  It was pushing the epoxy out of the hole...

After a day and a half, the epoxy finally is setting.
This is the slowest setting epoxy I've ever used.
It will take 3 days to fully set.
I'm more used to the 5 minute or even 1 minute setting epoxy...

Used a propane torch to get the air bubbles out, after a day of setting!
It still worked to get most of the bubbles out.
I singed the wood in the process but will sand it off later...
