Side table clean & Danish Oil -- Part 1

This is a side table that I'm taking up to Shelb.
Will clean it & apply some Danish oil.


The legs are pretty dirty...


The top is a little dirty and has quite a few spill stains but it's not too bad...
I'm pretty sure it's a veneer over solid (jointed together) wood, so sanding would be pretty limited in terms of how much you could take off.  Not worth the risk/work.


One of the sides before cleaning...


After cleaning the surfaces, started applying the Danish oil finish.
Put the first coat on and let it set for about 15 minutes before putting on the second coat...


The drawer fronts seem to soak up quite a bit of the oil, as if the wood was somewhat dry...


Applied the oil to the drawer opening areas also...
