Removed the Shimano 600 downtube front derailleur shifter from the Miele Bike

The front derailleur shifter is the one on the LH side of the downtube.  It's simply removed by turning the loop/adjuster (no tool required).

This shifter is not "indexed" so it's pretty simple.

Looking in my spare parts bag, I found several LH Dura-Ace levers (the parts in the middle of the picture are the ones that came off the bike).

I was thinking about swapping in the Dura-Ace lever for the 600 lever, but the Dura-Ace lever is missing the two inner pieces that go inside the lever.

These are all the parts.  Notice that the lever has a washer inside (from this side of the lever).

Close up picture of the washer inside the lever (it has a tab at the top that keeps it from rotationg)

The other side of the lever has a metal piece that is captured inside of a groove and has stops at both ends where it meets the raised "C" shaped portion of the lever...
