LH side (front derailleur) shifter components, after cleaning. 

Special, non-rotation washer for the inboard side. 

Washer installed.

Special non-rotation washer for the outboard side of the shifter (installed).

Outer part with slot to orient the shifter. 

The locking bolt & tension adjuster. 

Started installing...  The indexing slot has not engaged yet. 

Slot indexed and adjusting bolt tightened.  Installation complete. 

 

Lubed and installed the rear derailleur shifter (this side is fastened by a slot head screw). 

The rear derailleur shifter can be used as "indexed" for "friction."  Indexed had detents for each of the 6 speeds.  The rubber band is there to keep the front wheel from rotating during assembly...

Both shifters installed (ready for the cable installation).
