Kitchen Faucet Repair - RH (Cold) Side - Sunday, March 10, 2019

I had bought this adjustable wrench last year, I think, at a swap meet.  It worked very well in loosening the faucet handle.

The washer (second from the left) is rusting away...  The rubber seal (black rubber) is sitting inside a metal cup.  Need to remove & replace...

All the parts had mineral/calcium on the internal parts.  Took some time to clean most of the deposits off using a pick tool.

The replacement seal & cut I bought at the other local hardware store has too small a hole in the center.  The original cup is in the bottom right of the picture.  I installed the replacement seal that I bought & you can see that the rubber seal has too small a hole in the center.  I drilled the center hole out to the right size...

I reassembled everything and the faucet still drips, very slightly.  I'm hoping that the seal will take a set in a few days & even the very small amount of dripping will stop.
