Old Leather Clarinet Bag - Before & After some cleaning/work

The bag was well-used and pretty scruffy.  Also, the main zipper was broken.

The bag has had a pretty rough life, it looks like.

Fixed the zipper (need to still crimp-off the end), cleaned the leather and applied a colored leather cream to protect the leather and bring back some color.  Also added a shoulder strap I bought not too long ago from some sort of military application.

The leather is VERY thick. One end of the bag is round (to hold a trumpet or a clarinet).  The interior is lined in faux-fur to protect the instrument.  It looks to be possibly a custom made bag for someone who may have been a professional musician...

The patina on the aged leather is fantastic.  It can be a very utilitarian bag for something as an alternative use.  Don't know what though...
