Flathead Ford V8 Stock Intake Manifold -- Cast Iron & very heavy

After sand blasting but before painting...
The stock carburetor was pretty small...
I've had this for many years on the garage wall but was in pretty ugly/rusty condition (didn't take a picture before...).  It seems that Ford painted the intake manifold/block the same color.  Seems like most were in a dark green or dark blue/green...
There sure are a lot of mounting bolts (at least 10...).

Seems like stock intake manifolds are dime a dozen...  Even today...

There's still some gasket material on the bottom of the manifold (needs to be scraped off...).  You can see how close the four ports are to each other.  That puts the two middle cylinder exhaust ports next to each other (heat concentration...).

Don't know anything about the markings on the manifold but I'm guessing they can be correlated to a certain year...

After spray painting...  The color is not quite right to the original, I think...  May have to find the right paint in the future but for hanging on the garage wall, doesn't matter too much...
