Blue Point & Blomb

Blue Point is the budget line for Snap-on.
This is a pretty large wrench (about 10 inches long...).  7/8" is the size for the shower head in the kid's bathroom...  Need to remove the shower head again to see if it's clogged... (did this already a couple of days ago & found a lot of plastic debris in the filter going into the shower head)  & remove the shower water valves to remove any debris...

The "Plomb" brand name was changed to Proto in the 50's.  So this wrench is 50's but probably at the very end just before the name change.  What's interesting is the "Los Angeles" on the wrench (most Plomb wrenches said USA, not Los Angeles).
The basic design of the wrench changed from the "pebble finish" inset design to this more rounded, simple design.  The early Proto wrenches look like this Plomb wrench...

What's cool is that it says "Los Angeles"...  Can't imagine wrenches being made in Los Angeles today...
