Cars & Coffee at Manhattan Village Shopping Center (PCH & near Rosecrans...) -- October 31, 2015 (Saturday) Morning

Rode my bike to the Manhattan Beach Pier then a couple more miles to here...  Sitting at an outdoor table at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (the coffee was weak...).

Maserati Sebring (images of beach, sun and warmth in Florida...)

Jaguar XKE Series II (not too many sports cars have been made with a completely flat steering wheel (not even the slightest crown/dish).  The original 50's Corvette wheel is also flat...  Don't have either of these wheels...

Real wood on the dash, doors, windshield (same as on my 1964 220s).  Exact same steering wheel as in my 220s...

This was such a flop that I don't recall there being a series 2...

"Designed" by a draftsman named Gerry Coker (I started in the same department at Ford that Gerry retired from, just a year before I started...).  The best windshield ever designed on any car, all time...

Colin Chapman moved on from the Lotus VII pretty quickly.  Pretty much all other Lotus are long gone (Elite, Elan, Europa, etc.) but the VII lives on...  Lotus intended the Europa to be the successor of the VII but it didn't turn out that way...

The fastest Bianchina in the world?

MG TF (can always tell by the faired-in headlamps... & how low & wide it is compared to the TC & TD.  My favorite of the T-series...

Spirit of Ecstacy's wings mimicked by the hood...  The ornament has been in use on Rolls Royce cars for over 100 years...
