Saturday, March 29, 2025 - Moving from Riomaggiore to Firenze

Last coffee on the balcony.

They closed all the hiking trails between the five towns over the weekend for an endurance running event.  We were fortunate to not overlap with this event.
It's drizzling a bit in the morning.
Only saw one competitor running on the course, which ran down the path below the Air-bnb.

Bought postcards of each of the towns.

Train to Florence (Firenze)

The train went through a town where marble appears to be the main product/industry.

Froom the Florence main train station, we took this tram to Piazza San Marcos.

The Air-bnb in Florence is on Piazza San Marco.
