Cut the stock to make the legs out of.

Will probably need all five pieces to make the legs.

Cut the pieces for one of the two legs.

The design is a "hoop".

The top is narrower than the bottom.

There's a 5 degree angle.

The wider base will make the bench more stable.

Need to join the pieces together...

This one is for the narrower end of the bench.

Need to make the other "hoop."

 

Trimming the Strawberry Tree -- Part 2

I planted this tree about 15 years ago.

It was right around the time that I was leaving Nissan.

The nursery that I bought the tree from was next door to the building that I worked in at the time...

So, it's basically been 15 years since the tree was last trimmed...

Had previously trimmed the RH side of the tree a few weeks ago.

Now working on the rest of the tree.

Filled up the green bin...

It's about 80% of the way there.

Just need to trim a little bit more...
