The brand is "ATALA" and is made in Milano, Italy. I don't know much about Atala, other than what I've read... They're pretty middle of the road bikes in general, according to the web. This one has some nicer features like, Campagnolo hubs, Campagnolo front & rear deraileurs (lower end Campy), chrome on parts of the frame.
Overall, what's cool is that it's a nice Italian period bike (late 60's is my guess) with pretty much all it's original hardware (except for tires & seat...). It's a little rough but would be nice to take apart and restore... I doubt that I'll ever have that kind of leisure time but you never know what the future holds... For now, it will hang in the garage & be in the way... |
