Thanksgiving Holiday, 2022 -- Fairbanks Alaska -- Part 30 - Sunday, 11/27 - Leaving Fairbanks
Had the rental car for exactly a week and drove nearly 700 miles.
Quite a lot, considering the road conditions.
It's the slowest I've ever driven on a trip/vacation.
All acceleration and deceleration had to be very gently and smooth.
Got a little above 20 MPG.
In the past, when I used to drive 4-Runners for work, I usually averaged around 15 MPG.
Gas was around $3.50/gal (Costco).
Much cheaper than at home.
The rental worked out well.
