Bike ride to Manhattan Beach Pier -- Late Friday, June 21, 2019

First ride after all the work on the bike.  Everything worked well.  Nice to ride on new tires too.  No issues... 

Colnago Tecnos -- Replacing the yellow striped tires with white striped tires (the white will go with the seat and the bar tape & is less jarring than the yellow)

Front derailleur for a braze-on type of frame

Joined this braze-on adapter to one of the braze on style Dura Ace front derailleurs

This bottom bracket bearing assembly is missing a threaded locking right for the RH side...

This is a thread-less type of headset & will not work with the old Paramount frame (which has a threaded head tube).

This is another braze-on type of front derailleur joined to an adapter.  The adapter is brand new and very shiny, whereas the Shimano Ultegra front derailleur is used and pretty dirty... 

The screw joining the two pieces is the correct type with a large head and a large mating surface on the bottom of the head. 

The adapter is designed for a 31.8 mm seat tube.
