squirrely business

This tree ("strawberry" tree -- it can be a bush or a tree...) is just outside the kitchen window.  First time I've see a squirrel on this small branch...

It started making a call...

I'm guessing it's a mating call.  I don't think I've ever seen or heard a squirrel do this before.  It was repeatedly rubbing it's belly against the branch and making a call/noise.

After a few minutes, another squirrel appeared and started climbing the tree, at which point this squirrel chased after it and they both ran up the big sugar maple tree on the other side of the front yard...

Garage Organizing - part 34 -- The current state - overview picture

This is looking into the garage through the door that is primarily used for ingress/egress.  It looks pretty messy because all the horizontal surfaces are covered with stuff that I will be finding places for.  Some will find places in the cabinets/drawers and some will go into clear storage bins.  Nearly everything that needs to be "put away" is now in the garage.  All the stuff that was temporarily lying outside is now inside...

It's like any project, some obvious & more noticeable stuff can be done fairly quickly, but the small details can take much longer.  I've pretty much done all the bigger organizing stuff that I can.  Now on is the more difficult smaller stuff...

Thursday, May 21, 2020 -- Marina Del Rey -- Celebration on water...

People are riding their bikes on the bike path that's supposed to be closed still.  I don't understand why they are not opening the bike path, considering they have opened many hiking paths in the hills/mountains...

A little hard to see in the picture (middle, in the bottom half...), but there's a seal swimming back out the Ballona Creek channel.

There's a party on this big boat with a Mariachi band playing & a big sign on the top deck that says "Class of 2020."

It's just floating in the channel... (not going in or out)

It's a big band (looks like a dozen or so musicians...)

Garage Organizing - part 33 -- Combined two piles outside into one...

Stuff being stored in the wood side-board/cabinet temprarily...

The tool box and tank will end up inside the garage.  The rest will stay in the pile for now until I figure out what I'm going to do with the stuff...

Part of the pile was where the outdoor table/chair set is, until I just combined them...

There's two large tarps (from Costco) on top of the pile to keep moisture off.  The tarps are weighted down, so that they don't blow off.

The three large "furniture" type of items (Italian drafting table, side cabinet & "icebox" cabinet, will go to my gardener.  He'll come pick them up in a couple of weeks...
