The chain and the rear derailleur freewheels are dirty/grimy
The chain and the chainrings are greasy.
After cleaning the chain & gears.
After cleaning the chain, let it dry then applied a wax lubricant (suspended in water). Once the water evaporates, just the wax is left to lubricate the chain rings.
Hand cleaned the crank gears.
Hand cleaned the front & rear derailleurs.
Hand cleaned the brakes & headtube.
