Old & Rough Tool Case - part 24 -- Damage on the LH side of the case

The LH side of the case has some pretty heavy damage to the leatherette, with big chunks/areas missing the leatherette.

Some of the leatherette is loose...

Needs to be glued down...

Also, there's a lot of white/silver colored splatter on the leatherette.

The Danish oil has had a couple of days to dry on the case.  It's still not fully set (there's still a slight wetness to the touch).  In a few more days, it will be pretty dry to the touch.

The other Gerstner case that I applied Danish oil on is completely dry to the touch.  Almost feels like a urethane finish.

The old case is fully functional.  It can be used to store stuff...

Thursday, October 22, 2020 -- Manhattan Beach Pier

Overcast today.  Good riding temperature (about 70 F) but it's windy!

Fought a head/cross wind all the way to the pier (very tiring).

They're handing out the collagen water again.

Didn't like it last time so didn't get any...

They're making pretty good progress on the hillside construction.

The construction looks very solid and the design is not too unattractive...
