Needs a windshield though...

Saturday, November 5, 2022 -- Breakfast
Had breakfast with MB at this place (Toast) in Ferndale.
Had a little time to kill before meeting BS for lunch (in Troy).
MB and I walked over to some interesting shops near Toast.
One place was a bunch of small shops within a large building.
This guy (Joe) makes there interesting kinda "steampunk-ish" stuff.
Mostly lamps but some Bluetooth speakers.
The stuff that incorporates into the products is interesting (some automotive, plumbing, industrial, etc.)
Had a nice chat about old "junk" but had to cut it short to make it for lunch in Troy...
Had a long lunch with BS (nearly 4 hours in the restaurant!), catching up & talking cars.
Waiting to take off from DTW to LAX.
Just started raining...
Was very lucky with the weather in the Detroit area. Warm and no rain.
But, it was pretty grey the whole time though (no sun) as usual.
I remember the dreary grey lasting for at least half the year (winter) when I lived in Michigan (mostly 1987~1989)...

The "Yorker" is bent in a couple of places.
Between the "r" & the "k" and between the "e" and the "r".
Appears to be made of cast brass.
Lots of markings on the back.
Part number, manufacturer's name & their logo.
Used the pliers to straighten the "Yorker".
Turned out pretty well.
