SAAB

Monday, September 1, 2025 - Finished fixing the kitchen window Roman blind

I made a mistake when I first replaced the broken cord.
I got it crossed up with the cords for controlling toe top of the blind.
Also, when I cut the cord to length for the pull knob, I cut it too short!

Thus, I replaced both of the cords for controlling the bottom of the blind.
This was made a little bit easier by melting the new cord to the old cord.
Since the cord is made of synthetic material, it melts when heated.
The image below shows one of the melted together cords.

This allowed the new cord to be pulled through all the holes and paths that the cord needs to go through.

Finished repair & reinstalled over the window.
The two cords on the right control the bottom of the blind & were both replaced.
