Sunday, September 7, 2025 - Pasadena City College Swap Meet - Gerstner small chest (makeup travel case)- part 1 (some exterior cleaning)

| This is a waxed cloth covered chest. The black outer cover is dirty and somewhat faded. Started by cleaning the top surface. |

| The top surface cleaning worked out well. |
 |
| The front shows the fading that the top also had, prior to cleaning. |
 |
| Cleaned just a small portion on the left side to show the difference. |
 |
| This side even more dirty and faded. |
 |
| After cleaning. The lighter spots appear to have been effected by something. May try using something to add the black color back in... |
