fixing a loose hinge on one of the garage doors...

Of the left hand side doors, the upper hinge on the RH door is loose and is allowing the door to sag.

These wood screws are loose (can't see the head due to all the paint on them).

took off the paint so that they can be removed and replaced with longer screws.
Bought these #14 x 3" wood screws at the local hardware store.

Drilled holes for the longer screws before installing them.  The one screw hole with no screw in it has a broken screw in the hole.  I tired to drill out most of the old screw and tried to install a new longer screw but it broke.  Oh well.  I could drill it all out but by then the hole will probably end up being too big for a #14 screw...  The other four longer screws went in straight and had good bite.  The door no longer sags and when closing it, it no longer interferes with the other door & closes easily.  Done.

Water pressure regulator -- thinking about reducing the pressure...

This was replaced several years ago (the old one broke where it reduced the water pressure too much & could not be adjusted).  The water pressure in the house is fine but it may be a little too high.  According to the tag on the regulator, the output pressure adjustment range is 25 to 75 psi.  I'm pretty sure that it's close to 75...

The water pressure at the street (inlet pressure) is about 110 psi (a city worker checked it previously).
