Kitchen Faucet Leak - Repair #2
| Kitchen faucet started leaking again. Hot water side again. Suspected that more white plastic debris may be caught in the valve seat area again. Suspicion was confirmed. During the repair, noticed that the castle nut that I had put on the end of the valve was loose. Found a smaller nut to "cross-thread" onto the damaged stud. It went on pretty tight (was afraid that the stud may snap; luckily it didn't). Don't think the nut will come off anytime soon.  |
