Tuesday, December 31, 2024 - Breakfast at restaurant Mezcaleria Conejo en la Luna

The hotel room has this kinda fancy coffee machine.
It makes very good coffee.  Almost like an espresso in terms of flavor but not as concentrated.
Used bottled water to make the coffee.

While walking 15 minutes to breakfast, passed by this car.
I'd read about this Chinese brand, Haval, and remember thinking it's a strange brand name for a Chinese car company.  Saw a lot of Chinese cars in Mexico City, including EVs.

Went to a restaurant called Mezcaleria Conejo en la Luna.
Very attractive place with a central courtyard.
We would have sat in the courtyard but the music was too loud.
We chose to sit in a side room that wasn't as loud.

CM got the french toast with a side of eggs.
Good but very sweet.

I got a vegetarian omelet.  Tasty.

It seemed like the buildings were an old residence that was converted to be a restaurant.
The buildings seemed to have been originally built to a high quality with lots of custom made features, like the doors.  There's a couple of small panels in the doors with inset tiles which look very nice.
