| Image from the web. 1978 Alfa Spider Main Gauges. They only used these pods for a few years. They went to a typical dash/pad with a cluster inside like most cars. These pods must have been pretty expensive to make. The housing is multi-piece cast aluminum with special mounting hardware for the pods and the gauges. The usual gauge cluster panel is likely much lower cost to manufacture and also to assemble. |
