Cutaways of the 914 and X-1/9 on the wall.
They look like blow ups from Road & Track.
When I worked at GM Concept Center California, I did similar vehicle packaging studies for various projects.
I was always looking for 2D cutaway drawings from magazines, brochures, books, etc.
I'd make copies then try to blow them up to scale (1/10 scale or 3/8 scale?).
The scale models were done in 3/8 scale.
Had scales (rulers) in 3/8 scale.
Still have them, along with all the other drafting tools from those days in one of the flat file drawers in the garage.
Interesting model on the table.
Much smaller than what the Delorean turned out to be in the end.
Looks more the size of the 914 or X-1/9.
Also has curved surfaces like a normal construction car (not stainless steel).
Also has a similar design fell as the first Mazda RX-7 (wrap around rear hatch glass).
